| 英文描述 | Cysts of the pigmented epithelium of the iris, with hypoplasia or atrophy of the stroma have been seen in horses. Bilateral or there was evidence that there had been a cyst in both eyes. Usually on the superior basal part of the iris but can occur in other areas and even detach and be free floating. Transillumination of the thin-walled cyst can help differentiate it from a solid tumor. Do not usually seem to cause clinical problems, but in one case removal of the cyts resolved a problem of head shaking in a horse. |
